Here&#8217;s what our specialty files feature::<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"529\" height=\"586\" src=\"https:\/\/dev.belowthekowhai.nz\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Screen-Shot-2021-08-16-at-12.18.19-PM.png\" alt=\"Projector Sewing NZ\" class=\"wp-image-26951\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dev.belowthekowhai.nz\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Screen-Shot-2021-08-16-at-12.18.19-PM.png 529w, https:\/\/dev.belowthekowhai.nz\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Screen-Shot-2021-08-16-at-12.18.19-PM-416x461.png 416w, https:\/\/dev.belowthekowhai.nz\/dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Screen-Shot-2021-08-16-at-12.18.19-PM-271x300.png 271w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 529px) 100vw, 529px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><em>Gowri&#8217;s Projector Sewing set up<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is Projector Sewing?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Projector Sewing is using a ceiling mounted projector to shine the pattern pieces directly on to your fabric. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can then cut the pattern pieces out directly, without needing to print, assemble or trace your digital sewing patterns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This essentially saves time (pattern assembly\/tracing), printing costs and paper \/ ink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How are these patterns different?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Many Projector Sewists have been using A0&#8217;s for the last few years, but we&#8217;ve listened to their wants and dreams about the perfect specialty projector file. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many more features that can serve the projector uses with convienience that an A0 doesn&#8217;t offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;ve listened and come up with our own specialty file, just for projectors!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moving forward, will be offering our speciality Projector Files with our new sewing patterns, and updating our older patterns as we move through them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our Projector Sewing Files include:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Space around the outside of the file so you can scroll around and achieve perfect placement<\/li><li>1&#8243; and 5cm grids to help you calibrate your zoom size<\/li><li>Grids in each corner to help you calibrate your zoom size<\/li><li>Pattern pieces running in grain line direction (horizontal) to help you manoeuvre the pattern pieces on fabric wid<\/li><li>Large thick pattern lines that are easily visible<\/li><li>Oversize text for visibility<\/li><li>Reflected pattern pieces that are usually &#8220;cut on the fold&#8221; so you can cut them in a single layer<\/li><li>&#8220;Start&#8221; and &#8220;End&#8221; of pattern markings<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Below the K\u014dwhai Patterns Available for Projector Sewing<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>So far we have released specialty projector files for our:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.belowthekowhai.nz\/dev\/product\/the-tui-pinafore\/\">Tui Pinafore<\/a> (children&#8217;s)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.belowthekowhai.nz\/dev\/product\/the-bellbird\/\">Bellbird Dress sewing pattern<\/a> (children&#8217;s)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.belowthekowhai.nz\/dev\/product\/pai-shorts\/\">Pai Shorts<\/a> (children&#8217;s)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.belowthekowhai.nz\/dev\/product\/tipa-dungarees-adult\/\">Adult Tipa Dungarees sewing pattern<\/a> (adult&#8217;s)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.belowthekowhai.nz\/dev\/product\/tipa-dungarees\/\">Children&#8217;s Tipa Dungarees sewing pattern<\/a> (children&#8217;s)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.belowthekowhai.nz\/dev\/product\/rimu-dress\/\">Rimu Dress sewing pattern<\/a> (children&#8217;s)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.belowthekowhai.nz\/dev\/product\/kauri-dress\/\">Kauri Dress sewing pattern<\/a> (children&#8217;s)<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/dev.belowthekowhai.nz\/dev\/product\/awhi-coat\/\">Awhi Coat sewing pattern<\/a> (children&#8217;s)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>(last updated 07\/09\/2022)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over time we will be working our way through our pattern collection to add specialty projector files and will update this list as a running record!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>A big thank you to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/bypaary\/\">Gowri Paary<\/a> who consulted on our projector file specifications and helped us serve the sewing community!
